During Burr's initial inspection in 2010, we noticed that the siding was original to the home, made of pressboard, while the rear side of the home has recently been re-sided with cedar clapboard siding and new window trim. However, the pressboard areas were absorbing moisture and rotting. The homeowners showed interest in James Hardie fiber cement siding for its low-maintenance and high aesthetic qualities. Burr's expert team ultimately installed 6.25" Cedarmill HardiePlank in Monterey Taupe. Two years later, in 2012, we were lucky enough to get called back to this home after they constructed an addition. This time, we installed more Hardie to match the Monterey Taupe on the rest of the home. We also replaced the existing roof with Landmark 50 shingles in Moire Black. Now, this exterior looks amazing from top to bottom!
