Reliable Exteriors in Connecticut
As a design and installation expert, your home is guaranteed to receive absolute style and impressive function from our team.
Helping You Figure Out What Comes Next
If you're not sure where to start with your home's exterior, you're not alone. That's how most of our conversations begin. Maybe your siding took a beating in a recent storm, your windows let in more cold air than they should, or you want your house to look cared for again. Whatever brought you here, we've probably talked another homeowner through the same thing.
We're Burr Custom Exteriors, a family-owned company based in Stratford. Our team covers roofing, siding, windows, doors, decks, porches, pergolas, cabanas, and exterior design, so you can bring us your whole list instead of juggling separate contractors. Across our Connecticut service area, we bring more than five decades of exterior remodeling experience to each project.
Connecticut Exterior Remodeling Service Areas
Founded in 1969, Burr Custom Exteriors now serves homeowners across Fairfield, New Haven, Hartford, Litchfield, and New London Counties, along with communities throughout our broader Connecticut service area.
Exterior Services Available Across Our CT Coverage Area
From everyday appearance to weather protection, we cover most of the major parts of your home's exterior. A few homeowners already know exactly what they want, while others are still sorting through a handful of options. Here's a closer look at how our crew can help:
Your roof takes on more punishment than almost any other part of your house, from ice and snow in the winter to heavy summer storms. We install roofing systems chosen to protect your home through those temperature swings while still complementing your property's style.
Siding does double duty. It shields your home from wind and moisture, and it's often the first thing anyone notices about your house from the street. We install siding designed to stand up to Connecticut's seasons while giving your home a more finished, updated look.
Old or drafty windows can affect comfort, energy efficiency, and curb appeal. We install replacement windows in a range of styles, materials, and configurations for Connecticut homes. Our team helps homeowners compare replacement-window options based on the home's design, performance goals, and project scope.
First impressions start at the front door, but every exterior door on your home does real work behind the scenes. We install exterior doors chosen to strengthen both. From traditional wood looks to modern fiberglass options, we'll help you choose an exterior door that fits your home's style and performance needs.
A deck should extend how you already live outside, not just get added on because it seemed like a good idea. We build custom decks shaped around your property, your yard, and how you plan to use the space, using durable, low-maintenance material options selected for Connecticut's changing seasons.
A porch bridges the gap between your house and your yard. We build custom porches that extend your living area and tie naturally into your home's existing structure. From roofing and railings to flooring and lighting, we'll leave your porch looking like it was there from day one.
Cabanas and pergolas can create more functional outdoor living spaces for relaxing, dining, and entertaining. Together, we'll sort out placement, size, and add-ons so it becomes the one area of your space that pulls everyone outside.
Why Choose Burr Custom Exteriors?
Many Burr customers return for additional exterior projects over time, which is why we think beyond a single job from the start. You might pair new siding with new windows, handle a roof replacement now and a porch later, or plan several upgrades as one larger update.
But numbers and descriptions only go so far. If you'd like to see what these projects actually look like on Connecticut homes, take a look through our project gallery. And if you want to know what it's like working with us before you pick up the phone, our reviews page has feedback from homeowners across the state who've been through the process themselves.
