Entering our 49th year of service throughout Southern Connecticut, Burr Roofing, Siding & Windows is dedicated to giving back to the community.

We donate the majority of our extra building material to Habitat for Humanity at the end of each year. This last year, Burr was able to contribute 15 windows, 3 doors, and multiple pallets of siding. This nonprofit organization aims to eliminate sub-standard housing and create affordable homeownership possibilities for individuals and families throughout the state. Burr has been a contributor to this program for several years and we look forward to contributing for many years to come.

As part of our commitment to community outreach and sustainability, we recently became a participant in Habitat for Humanity’s Home Builders Blitz program, taking place each June. Blitz calls on professional homebuilders across the state to unite and work alongside one another, towards a bigger cause. Burr Roofing, Siding & Windows is thrilled to be joining this group of businesses dedicated to developing the community. This June, we plan to donate enough siding for 3 housing projects while volunteering labor to build safe and affordable housing for families in need throughout the state of Connecticut.

Additionally, we are involved in the Bridgeport Regional Business Council (BRBC), and their young entrepreneur’s organization, Thrive. Through this program, the BRBC aims to increase economic opportunities throughout the Bridgeport Region by creating an environment in which small businesses can flourish.

As a member of THRIVE, Burr Roofing, Siding & Windows advocates for the region’s young professional community through development programs, networking, and community service initiatives. We understand the importance of shared knowledge and strong networking skills within small businesses and hope our contributions positively impact the region’s small business atmosphere in the future.
