These homeowners loved their existing exterior. Unfortunately, the cedar siding required more maintenance than they were willing to keep up with. James Hardie fiber cement siding provided a great alternative. The composite material requires little maintenance and lasts for decades after installation. Our expert crew installed 6” Hardie clapboard in Arctic White. The homeowners chose a cedarmill finish to mimic the appearance of the cedar siding they loved. Now, this home is beautiful and involves almost no maintenance!

Mr. C & Mrs. G could not be happier with their remodeled home in Ridgefield, CT. Burr Roofing, Siding & Windows was so thrilled to take part in their life improving home improvements!! We stripped the existing siding and installed 5″ exposure James Hardie Lap in Monterey Taupe, adding to the home’s aesthetic and durability. To finish the job, our expertise crew installed new doors and light fixtures along with James Hardie Arctic White window trim to match the updated exterior. For this home, located in Orange, CT, we installed 7 1/4″Smooth James Hardie HardiePlank in Navajo Beige, paired with Arctic White Trim and Seamless White Gutters. Additionally, we used Azek Decking materials in Silver Oak to refurbish the back deck, giving these homeowners a great place to spend some beautiful days outside! This remodel took place shortly after hurricane Sandy terrorized Connecticut, damaging hundreds of homes. When you hire a home improvement professional, you expect them to show up and get the job done. Unfortunately, Karen experienced the opposite. Before hiring Burr she invested in contractors who did not deliver on their promises and she finally got fed up! She turned to Burr for help and help we did! The pre-existing roof was covered in algae growth, causing the shingles to deteriorate. We replaced the damaged roof with CertainTeed Landmark Pro shingles in Weathered Wood, bringing life back to this Westport home. Thank you Karen for your kind words! We loved working with these Stamford homeowners as they remodeled their home for the first time. Our design team was there every step of the way allowing them to make educated decisions on product preference and the overall aesthetic of their home. After considering the options, the homeowners chose 5″ James Hardie clapboard in Light Mist, with a cedarmill finish to mimic the look of traditional wood. Our carpentry team then built a custom portico with a cathedral soffit and round PVC columns. Now, this home catches your eye! The final touch was a new front door, creating a warm and welcoming entryway for family and friends.

This remodel was such a fun project. The exterior features James Hardie smooth panel in Aged Pewter with mill finished fry reglet J-channels. Fiber cement Hardie clapboard is featured in Night Grey on the back of the home. There are also several areas where AZEK Exteriors decking was used as a sidewall application. For these sections, we used Dark Hickory AZEK found in the Vintage Collection. Lastly, we installed Boral Building Products primed 1×6 shiplap with a 5″ reveal, which was later painted to match the Night Grey Hardie.
