Exterior Remodeling in New Haven County, CT

Burr Custom Exteriors has served Connecticut homeowners since 1969 and provides full-scope exterior remodeling throughout New Haven County. Coordinating with multiple contractors for roofing, siding, doors, and windows adds stress and unnecessary complexity. One Connecticut-based team managing everything from design through installation keeps your project on track.

Siding Replacement Built for New Haven County Homes

Siding replacement is one of the most visible home investments, shaping your property's appearance and protection for decades. We help homeowners compare siding options based on architectural style, maintenance goals, exposure, and long-term performance. James Hardie fiber cement and cedar are among the materials featured in our siding work.

We use James Hardie products for fiber cement work, and we hold the James Hardie Service Excellence Award. James Hardie fiber cement is designed for durability and low maintenance, making it a strong option for Connecticut's changing seasons. Cedar brings natural warmth that complements older colonial, Cape-style, and coastal-inspired homes common throughout the county.

Roofing Services for New Haven County Properties

Storm damage or persistent leaks often force homeowners to decide what to do about their roof. When deterioration is widespread or a roof has reached the end of its service life, a full roof replacement may provide a more complete long-term solution than repeated repairs. We install CertainTeed roofing systems throughout New Haven County, with options designed for Connecticut's rain, wind, sun, snow, and freeze-thaw cycles. We also have experience working with a variety of roof types.

Window and Door Replacement in New Haven County

New windows and doors improve comfort by tightening the building envelope and reducing drafts year-round. We're a Marvin Authorized Replacement Contractor installing Marvin windows throughout New Haven County and surrounding areas.

We offer window styles including double-hung, bay and bow, and casement options, with fiberglass and wood-frame choices available for different home styles. For doors, we install Therma-Tru entry doors, French doors, and patio doors that balance style with thermal performance.

Decks, Porches & Outdoor Living for New Haven County Homes

A well-built deck or porch can expand usable outdoor living space. We design and install decks, screened-in porches, and porticos using options such as TimberTech decking, with AZEK Exteriors Trim & Moulding available for finished exterior details. TimberTech offers composite decking and Advanced PVC decking options for low-maintenance outdoor living.

Screened-in porches give homeowners a more protected outdoor living space during warmer months. Porticos add a finished, protected entry that frames your home's front.

Pergolas and Cabanas: Outdoor Structures Designed Around Your Property

Pergolas and cabanas define outdoor space with intention and function that decks alone don't achieve. We handle projects from concept through installation, so you don't have to manage separate designers and builders.

A pergola creates defined outdoor dining areas with an overhead structure that frames the space without enclosing it. A cabana works as a poolside retreat or shaded entertaining area.

One Contractor for Every Part of Your Exterior

Managing multiple contractors for roofing, siding, and windows creates unnecessary complexity and coordination challenges. We handle all exterior work, keeping your project on track without you becoming the project manager between separate trades.

We offer design services and renderings before work begins so homeowners can better visualize exterior changes before installation starts. Financing is also available for qualifying projects. Check out our reviews page to see what past customers experienced working with our team.
